Posting from my T-Mobile G1 using PostBot

January 11, 2009

I haven’t posted in a while, actually I haven’t posted much at all. A few months ago I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile, just to get the G1 which runs Google’s Android mobile operating system.

The G1 is definately the best phone I’ve owned, it has a touch screen and qwerty keyboard. While the phone leaves much to be desired, like video recording, flash, standard audio jack and so on, it has some features such as Gmail and Android Market which make it a rich experience that evolves as more applications are added to the market. Also future updates to Android will make the experience richer, such as video recording will be included in a future update.

This post was added via my G1 using PostBot, which was released this morning on the Android Market. This application will get me to post more often.

Promotion and Windows Media Center

May 10, 2006

So last week I was promoted to Sergeant, I'm ready for more responsibility and to be a better leader.  Ironically, it's been 9 months since I was mobilized and now have 9 more to go before we can go back home.  In celebration to my promotion, or maybe that I'm halfway there on this journey, I've acquired a few gadgets over the weekend, got a TV Tuner from Hauppauge (it works) to use my Xbox 360 as a media extender for XP Media Center Edition on my laptop.  So far I love it, I like the fact that I can schedule and record programs, I can pause or rewind Live TV.  This is great!

Subscribed to XM Radio…

April 23, 2006

After contemplating about satellite radio for a long time, I’ve finally decided to subscribe and today it was installed in my car.  I chose XM radio, and I’m loving it!  Actually there isn’t much of a different between XM and Sirius, not anything that appeals to me.  One thing that I like about XM Radio is that I’m able to listen music online from the office, sorry Sirius, your site won’t load on our secure network.

I just love it, I relate it to Cable TV, most consumers now days have Cable TV because they get extra content with superior quality.  The same applies to satellite radio, I’ll be enjoying it for the next few days and I’ll let you know how it behaves.
